AV League ("AV League," "we," "us," or "our") operates the AV League platform at avleague.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, and payment information when you register for an account. We also collect information about how you use the platform, including booking history, shift data, and availability submissions. For independent contractors, we collect tax identification information (W-9) required for 1099-NEC reporting.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform, process payments, send transactional notifications (booking confirmations, shift reminders, availability requests, account verification), generate required tax documents, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. SMS Notifications
By registering on our platform and providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from AV League. These messages include account verification codes, booking confirmations, shift reminders, and availability requests. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.
4. Information Sharing
We share your information with vendors and event coordinators as necessary to fulfill bookings you are part of. We use trusted third-party service providers including Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), SendGrid (email), and Supabase (data storage). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Tax documents (1099-NEC) are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by law.
6. Your Rights
You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@avleague.com. Note that certain information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as tax reporting.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), row-level security on our database, and restricted access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
AV League is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
